A lung nodule is a small single mass in the lungs that is usually benign.

Symptoms include coughing, coughing up blood, and shortness of breath.

Treatment

• Supportive care

• Watching for any changes (If there are no changes then it is most likely noncancerous or benign)

• Followup CAT scans to monitor any changes in the nodule
